Als Zubehör wird ein Magnetaufsatz angeboten, der zusätzlich zur Wirkung der mechanischen Vibration einen Einfluss auf unsere Nervenströme (wie z.B. Muskelansteuerungen) haben kann.
Grundsätzlich hat ein magnetische Wechselfeld Einfluss auf elektrische Ströme. Beim Novafon werden Wechselfelder von 50 oder 100 Hz erzeugt, die auf die Nervenströme der behandelnden Regionen Einfluss nehmen können. Inwieweit dieser Einfluss quantifizierbar und wirksam ist, ist individuell zu beurteilen.

Does the magnetic attachment fit my device?
The magnetic attachment fits the NOVAFON pro, NOVAFON power, NOVAFON classic and NOVAFON soft (discontinued model).
Is there a difference between the chrome coloured and the golden attachment?
No, it is only the coating that is different.
How big is the magnetic attachment?
The attachment has a height from the tip to the screw of about 3 cm.
How do you clean the attachment?
If used privately, clean the housing and attachment elements using a clean cloth dampened with clear water or a mild soapy solution. For clinical and professional use, clean and disinfect the housing, disk attachment and ball attachment using a suitable surface disinfectant for medical devices before and after each use. Generally, NOVAFON recommends alcohol-free disinfectants that are suitable for use on sensitive surfaces, such as SinAlc sensitive by HIMED or RHEOSEPT-WD plus wipes by Rheosol. If necessary, wipe it dry with a soft cloth.
How do I swap an attachment?
The attachments can be easily swapped over by loosening (anticlockwise, with slight pressure against the device) and tightening (clockwise) the attachment.
