How cold does the Kryo Set get and how long does it stay cold?
With the Kryo Set, you can reduce the skin temperature by up to 13°C. Make sure not to treat the same area continuously and allow regular breaks between applications.
- Freezer overnight: –9 °C
- Refrigerator after 3.5 hours: 12.5 °C
- Refrigerator after 1 hour: 20.2 °C
The larger the attachment, the longer the cooling effect lasts. You can also reuse your attachment after a treatment break to apply another cooling impulse.
Maximum treatment time until the attachment reaches room temperature:
- > 16 minutes (Kryo Ball max) after freezer storage
Minimum treatment time until the attachment reaches room temperature:
- 4 minutes (Kryo Focus one) after freezer storage
How can I cool the attachments?
You can easily cool the attachments in the included metal case. For maximum cooling performance, place them in the freezer, or alternatively in the refrigerator.
- In the freezer, the attachments reach temperatures as low as –9 °C after one night.
- In the refrigerator, the attachments reach temperatures of up to 12.5 °C after approximately 3.5 hours.
Only store completely dry attachments and packaging in the metal case to prevent moisture build-up, ice formation, or mold growth.

Can I also use the Kryo Set on animals?
The Kryo Set has not been specifically developed or tested for veterinary use. Therefore, any application on animals is entirely at the discretion of the treating professional.
Important: The Kryo Duo is not suitable for paravertebral treatment in animals, as the size and anatomy of the vertebrae vary considerably between different animal species.
