Do the Rehab Attachments fit my device?
The Rehab Attachments are compatible with the wireless NOVAFON devices DAS NOVAFON, DAS NOVAFON power, and DAS NOVAFON power 2. They are not compatible with the NOVAFON max+, novafon max or with wired devices of the older generation.
How large are the individual Rehab Attachments?
The Cone Attachment has a height of approx. 2 cm, the Hedgehog Attachment has a diameter of approx. 4 cm, and the XL Disc Attachment has a diameter of approx. 6 cm.
How can I clean the attachments?
In professional and clinical settings, the NOVAFON Rehab Attachments must be disinfected before and after each use with a surface disinfectant suitable for medical devices. NOVAFON generally recommends alcohol-free disinfectants that are suitable for sensitive surfaces, such as SinAlc Sensitive by HIMED or RHEOSEPT-WD plus Wipes by Rheosol. If necessary, wipe dry with a soft cloth. For the Hedgehog Attachment, we specifically recommend an alcohol-free spray disinfectant, e.g., SinAlc Sensitive by HIMED or a comparable medical device surface disinfectant. In case of contamination or as needed, clean the attachments under running water using a brush and a neutral cleaner before disinfecting. For home use (non-clinical), the attachments can be cleaned with a damp cloth, under running water, or with a mild soapy solution.
How can I change an attachment?
The attachments can be easily removed from the device with a quarter turn and gentle pull. To attach them, simply push the attachment onto the device. The attachment is correctly positioned when the connectors on the device and the attachment align seamlessly.
