What settings are available on the device and in the novafon app, and what are they used for?
The upper part of the multi-button controls the vibration intensity. The lower button is used to select the frequency:
- 100 Hz = Pain relief
- 75 Hz = Muscle activation
- 50 Hz = Muscle relaxation and recovery
Simply connect your novafon one+ to the free novafon app to adjust the intensity according to your individual needs, save treatment programs, and keep track of your treatment progress at all times.
How do I connect the novafon one+ to the novafon app?
The novafon app requires at least iOS 15 or Android 9.
1. Unlock the device
- Turn on the device using the power button.
- If the closed lock symbol is displayed, the novafon is in Travel Lock mode.
- To unlock or lock the device, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds. The device will start at 100 Hz.
- Use the "Frequency" button to switch between frequencies and to turn the device off or put it into standby mode.
2. Pair the device
- Make sure you have the latest version of the novafon app installed to pair your new device.
- Open the app, enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and, on Android devices, allow location access.
- Press and hold both buttons on your novafon one+ for approximately 5 seconds until "searching..." appears on the display.
- Follow the instructions in the app to pair your novafon one+.
3. Personalize your device
- Make your novafon one+ your own by choosing a personalized welcome message, selecting your preferred display color, and setting your favorite treatment duration.
4. Start your treatment
- You can easily manage your personal settings in the "My NF" section of the novafon app.
- Customize the three preset intensity levels so they are comfortable for you.
How can I clean the device housing and the attachments?
To clean the device, disconnect it from the power supply. Thanks to its magnetic charging connector, the novafon one+ offers enhanced sealing and is splash-proof with an IP44 protection rating. For personal use, clean the device housing and attachments with a clean cloth dampened with water or a mild soap solution. For clinical and professional use, clean and disinfect the device housing, disc attachment, and ball attachment with a suitable surface disinfectant for medical devices before and after each use. In general, novafon recommends using alcohol-free disinfectants, such as Novacleaner, which is suitable for sensitive surfaces and helps protect the device housing from damage. If necessary, wipe the device dry with a soft cloth.
When should I not use the device?
Treatment with novafon sound wave devices must not be used in the following cases:
· Open wounds or eczema (in the treatment area)
· Arteriosclerosis (in the treatment area)
· Current episodes of epilepsy
· Pregnancy
· Implants (in the treatment area)
· Cardiac pacemakers
· Thrombosis (in the treatment area)
· Deep brain stimulators
· Cardiac arrhythmias

Possible side effects: Please note that, in rare cases, the following side effects may occur:
