TREATMENT OF THE HEEL
Pain in the heel is also commonly known as a heel spur. However, these symptoms may not always be associated with a bony heel spur. Another possible cause of heel pain may be an inflammation of the plantar fascia in the foot. Heel pain is generally associate with pain on initial movement in the morning; you literally have to get going again after getting up. The pain is generally perceived as walking across shards or stepping on a nail.

The NOVAFON device can be used for the treatment of the sore areas of the foot muscles. NOVAFON treatment takes a total of 10–15 minutes per side and can be repeated up to twice daily. Before you start, plug your NOVAFON into the socket and take a comfortable seat. Carry out the treatment on the affected side, or both sides if required. Make sure to follow the steps outlined here precisely.
1 – STROKING OF THE CALF MUSCLES
We recommend treating the calf muscle before treating the heel. Switch your NOVAFON to level II and use the plate attachment to cover with strokes the entire area between the back of the knee and the heel for 2–3 minutes. Be sure to treat both the inside and outside of the calf.
2 – STROKING OF THE FOOT MUSCLES
Then treat the sole of your foot. With a stroking motion, cover the entire area from heel to toe for 2–3 minutes. Then treat the sore areas on the sole of the foot.
3 – TREATMENT OF SORE AREAS
Next select the ball attachment and switch your device to level I. Treat the sore areas, and focus there for about 30–60 seconds. You can either spot-treat the sore areas or use a gentle circular motion. Repeat this treatment up to twice a day.
